How To Uninstall maas On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall maas just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maas

MAAS server all-in-one metapackageUbuntu 14.04 LTSnet1.5+bzr2252-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove maas

This will remove just the maas package itself.

Uninstall maas and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maas

This will remove the maas package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maas then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maas

Or similarly, like this maas

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maas
