How To Uninstall mircommon-dev On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mircommon-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mircommon-dev

Display server for Ubuntu - development headersUbuntu 14.04 LTSlibdevel0.1.8+14.04.20140411-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove mircommon-dev

This will remove just the mircommon-dev package itself.

Uninstall mircommon-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mircommon-dev

This will remove the mircommon-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mircommon-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mircommon-dev

Or similarly, like this mircommon-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mircommon-dev
