How To Uninstall monodoc-browser On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall monodoc-browser just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just monodoc-browser

MonoDoc GTK+ based viewerUbuntu 14.04 LTSdevel2.11+git20131009.5b1ef35-1build1
sudo apt-get remove monodoc-browser

This will remove just the monodoc-browser package itself.

Uninstall monodoc-browser and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove monodoc-browser

This will remove the monodoc-browser package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for monodoc-browser then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge monodoc-browser

Or similarly, like this monodoc-browser

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove monodoc-browser
