How To Uninstall monodoc-manual On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall monodoc-manual just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just monodoc-manual

compiled XML documentation from the Mono projectUbuntu 14.04 LTSdevel3.2.8+dfsg-4ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove monodoc-manual

This will remove just the monodoc-manual package itself.

Uninstall monodoc-manual and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove monodoc-manual

This will remove the monodoc-manual package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for monodoc-manual then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge monodoc-manual

Or similarly, like this monodoc-manual

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove monodoc-manual
