How To Uninstall multiarch-support On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall multiarch-support just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just multiarch-support

Transitional package to ensure multiarch compatibilityUbuntu 14.04 LTSlibs2.19-0ubuntu6
sudo apt-get remove multiarch-support

This will remove just the multiarch-support package itself.

Uninstall multiarch-support and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove multiarch-support

This will remove the multiarch-support package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for multiarch-support then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge multiarch-support

Or similarly, like this multiarch-support

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove multiarch-support
