How To Uninstall myspell-gd On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall myspell-gd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just myspell-gd

Scots Gaelic dictionary for myspellUbuntu 14.04 LTStext0.50-10
sudo apt-get remove myspell-gd

This will remove just the myspell-gd package itself.

Uninstall myspell-gd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove myspell-gd

This will remove the myspell-gd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for myspell-gd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge myspell-gd

Or similarly, like this myspell-gd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove myspell-gd
