How To Uninstall mgltools-visionlibraries On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mgltools-visionlibraries just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mgltools-visionlibraries

Extensions for Python-based Visual Programming EnvironmentUbuntu 14.04 LTSmultiverse/science1.5.7~rc1~cvs.20130519-1
sudo apt-get remove mgltools-visionlibraries

This will remove just the mgltools-visionlibraries package itself.

Uninstall mgltools-visionlibraries and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mgltools-visionlibraries

This will remove the mgltools-visionlibraries package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mgltools-visionlibraries then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mgltools-visionlibraries

Or similarly, like this mgltools-visionlibraries

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mgltools-visionlibraries
