How To Uninstall m17n-lib-mimx On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall m17n-lib-mimx just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just m17n-lib-mimx

multilingual text processing library - binary modulesUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/utils1.6.4-2ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove m17n-lib-mimx

This will remove just the m17n-lib-mimx package itself.

Uninstall m17n-lib-mimx and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove m17n-lib-mimx

This will remove the m17n-lib-mimx package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for m17n-lib-mimx then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge m17n-lib-mimx

Or similarly, like this m17n-lib-mimx

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove m17n-lib-mimx
