How To Uninstall maint-guide-ja On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall maint-guide-ja just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maint-guide-ja

Debian New Maintainers' Guide (Japanese)Ubuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/doc1.2.32
sudo apt-get remove maint-guide-ja

This will remove just the maint-guide-ja package itself.

Uninstall maint-guide-ja and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maint-guide-ja

This will remove the maint-guide-ja package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maint-guide-ja then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maint-guide-ja

Or similarly, like this maint-guide-ja

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maint-guide-ja
