How To Uninstall manila-common On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall manila-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just manila-common

Manila storage service - common filesUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/net2014.1~git20140220-0ubuntu12
sudo apt-get remove manila-common

This will remove just the manila-common package itself.

Uninstall manila-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove manila-common

This will remove the manila-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for manila-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge manila-common

Or similarly, like this manila-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove manila-common
