How To Uninstall manpages-de On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall manpages-de just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just manpages-de

German manpagesUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/doc1.4-1
sudo apt-get remove manpages-de

This will remove just the manpages-de package itself.

Uninstall manpages-de and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove manpages-de

This will remove the manpages-de package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for manpages-de then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge manpages-de

Or similarly, like this manpages-de

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove manpages-de
