How To Uninstall mapcache-tools On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mapcache-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mapcache-tools

tile caching server - toolsUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/misc1.2.1-2
sudo apt-get remove mapcache-tools

This will remove just the mapcache-tools package itself.

Uninstall mapcache-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mapcache-tools

This will remove the mapcache-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mapcache-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mapcache-tools

Or similarly, like this mapcache-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mapcache-tools
