How To Uninstall mcollective-plugins-provisioner On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mcollective-plugins-provisioner just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mcollective-plugins-provisioner

mcollective Server Provisioner pluginUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/admin0.0.1~git20110120-0ubuntu3
sudo apt-get remove mcollective-plugins-provisioner

This will remove just the mcollective-plugins-provisioner package itself.

Uninstall mcollective-plugins-provisioner and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mcollective-plugins-provisioner

This will remove the mcollective-plugins-provisioner package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mcollective-plugins-provisioner then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mcollective-plugins-provisioner

Or similarly, like this mcollective-plugins-provisioner

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mcollective-plugins-provisioner
