How To Uninstall mdk On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mdk just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mdk

MIX Development KitUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/otherosfs1.2.6+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove mdk

This will remove just the mdk package itself.

Uninstall mdk and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mdk

This will remove the mdk package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mdk then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mdk

Or similarly, like this mdk

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mdk
