How To Uninstall med-data On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall med-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just med-data

Debian Med drug databasesUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/misc1.13.2ubuntu3
sudo apt-get remove med-data

This will remove just the med-data package itself.

Uninstall med-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove med-data

This will remove the med-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for med-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge med-data

Or similarly, like this med-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove med-data
