How To Uninstall med-tools On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall med-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just med-tools

Debian Med several toolsUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/misc1.13.2ubuntu3
sudo apt-get remove med-tools

This will remove just the med-tools package itself.

Uninstall med-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove med-tools

This will remove the med-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for med-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge med-tools

Or similarly, like this med-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove med-tools
