How To Uninstall mediatomb-dbg On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mediatomb-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mediatomb-dbg

UPnP MediaServer (debug package)Ubuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/debug0.12.1-5ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove mediatomb-dbg

This will remove just the mediatomb-dbg package itself.

Uninstall mediatomb-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mediatomb-dbg

This will remove the mediatomb-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mediatomb-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mediatomb-dbg

Or similarly, like this mediatomb-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mediatomb-dbg
