How To Uninstall mediawiki-classes On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mediawiki-classes just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mediawiki-classes

sudo apt-get remove mediawiki-classes

This will remove just the mediawiki-classes package itself.

Uninstall mediawiki-classes and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mediawiki-classes

This will remove the mediawiki-classes package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mediawiki-classes then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mediawiki-classes

Or similarly, like this mediawiki-classes

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mediawiki-classes
