How To Uninstall mercurial-buildpackage On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mercurial-buildpackage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mercurial-buildpackage

sudo apt-get remove mercurial-buildpackage

This will remove just the mercurial-buildpackage package itself.

Uninstall mercurial-buildpackage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mercurial-buildpackage

This will remove the mercurial-buildpackage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mercurial-buildpackage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mercurial-buildpackage

Or similarly, like this mercurial-buildpackage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mercurial-buildpackage
