How To Uninstall micro-inetd On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall micro-inetd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just micro-inetd

simple network service spawnerUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/net20050629-5
sudo apt-get remove micro-inetd

This will remove just the micro-inetd package itself.

Uninstall micro-inetd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove micro-inetd

This will remove the micro-inetd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for micro-inetd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge micro-inetd

Or similarly, like this micro-inetd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove micro-inetd
