How To Uninstall midori On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall midori just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just midori

fast, lightweight graphical web browserUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/web0.4.3+dfsg-0.1
sudo apt-get remove midori

This will remove just the midori package itself.

Uninstall midori and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove midori

This will remove the midori package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for midori then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge midori

Or similarly, like this midori

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove midori
