How To Uninstall mighttpd2 On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mighttpd2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mighttpd2

classical web server on WAI/warpUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/haskell2.8.7-2
sudo apt-get remove mighttpd2

This will remove just the mighttpd2 package itself.

Uninstall mighttpd2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mighttpd2

This will remove the mighttpd2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mighttpd2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mighttpd2

Or similarly, like this mighttpd2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mighttpd2
