How To Uninstall miro On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall miro just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just miro

GTK+ based RSS video aggregatorUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/net4.0.4-1.1ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove miro

This will remove just the miro package itself.

Uninstall miro and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove miro

This will remove the miro package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for miro then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge miro

Or similarly, like this miro

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove miro
