How To Uninstall misery On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall misery just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just misery

Simple accounting package for groups, clubs, holidaysUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/text0.2-1build1
sudo apt-get remove misery

This will remove just the misery package itself.

Uninstall misery and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove misery

This will remove the misery package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for misery then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge misery

Or similarly, like this misery

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove misery
