How To Uninstall mon-client On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mon-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mon-client

modules for interfacing with the mon packageUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/perl1.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove mon-client

This will remove just the mon-client package itself.

Uninstall mon-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mon-client

This will remove the mon-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mon-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mon-client

Or similarly, like this mon-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mon-client
