How To Uninstall umockdev On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall umockdev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just umockdev

record/mock hardware devices for bug reports and regression testsUbuntu 15.04devel0.8.8-2
sudo apt-get remove umockdev

This will remove just the umockdev package itself.

Uninstall umockdev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove umockdev

This will remove the umockdev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for umockdev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge umockdev

Or similarly, like this umockdev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove umockdev
