How To Uninstall unity-lens-files On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall unity-lens-files just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just unity-lens-files

File lens for unityUbuntu 15.04gnome7.1.0+13.10.20130920-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove unity-lens-files

This will remove just the unity-lens-files package itself.

Uninstall unity-lens-files and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove unity-lens-files

This will remove the unity-lens-files package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for unity-lens-files then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge unity-lens-files

Or similarly, like this unity-lens-files

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove unity-lens-files
