How To Uninstall util-linux-locales On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall util-linux-locales just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just util-linux-locales

Locales files for util-linuxUbuntu 15.04utils2.25.2-4ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove util-linux-locales

This will remove just the util-linux-locales package itself.

Uninstall util-linux-locales and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove util-linux-locales

This will remove the util-linux-locales package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for util-linux-locales then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge util-linux-locales

Or similarly, like this util-linux-locales

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove util-linux-locales
