How To Uninstall uuidcdef On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall uuidcdef just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just uuidcdef

Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) generatorUbuntu 15.04devel0.3.13-5
sudo apt-get remove uuidcdef

This will remove just the uuidcdef package itself.

Uninstall uuidcdef and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove uuidcdef

This will remove the uuidcdef package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for uuidcdef then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge uuidcdef

Or similarly, like this uuidcdef

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove uuidcdef
