How To Uninstall qpid-client On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall qpid-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just qpid-client

enterprise messaging system - AMQP clientUbuntu 15.04universe/misc0.16-7.2build1
sudo apt-get remove qpid-client

This will remove just the qpid-client package itself.

Uninstall qpid-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove qpid-client

This will remove the qpid-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for qpid-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge qpid-client

Or similarly, like this qpid-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove qpid-client
