How To Uninstall ubuntu-core-upgrader On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall ubuntu-core-upgrader just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ubuntu-core-upgrader

Tools to apply a new system image to a running Ubuntu Core systemUbuntu 15.04universe/utils0.7.10
sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-core-upgrader

This will remove just the ubuntu-core-upgrader package itself.

Uninstall ubuntu-core-upgrader and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ubuntu-core-upgrader

This will remove the ubuntu-core-upgrader package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ubuntu-core-upgrader then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ubuntu-core-upgrader

Or similarly, like this ubuntu-core-upgrader

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ubuntu-core-upgrader
