How To Uninstall ubuntu-defaults-nl On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall ubuntu-defaults-nl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ubuntu-defaults-nl

Dummy transitional packageUbuntu 15.04universe/metapackages6
sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-defaults-nl

This will remove just the ubuntu-defaults-nl package itself.

Uninstall ubuntu-defaults-nl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ubuntu-defaults-nl

This will remove the ubuntu-defaults-nl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ubuntu-defaults-nl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ubuntu-defaults-nl

Or similarly, like this ubuntu-defaults-nl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ubuntu-defaults-nl
