How To Uninstall ubuntu-download-manager On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall ubuntu-download-manager just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ubuntu-download-manager

Ubuntu Download Manager - daemonUbuntu 15.04universe/net0.9+15.04.20150203-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-download-manager

This will remove just the ubuntu-download-manager package itself.

Uninstall ubuntu-download-manager and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ubuntu-download-manager

This will remove the ubuntu-download-manager package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ubuntu-download-manager then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ubuntu-download-manager

Or similarly, like this ubuntu-download-manager

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ubuntu-download-manager
