How To Uninstall ubuntu-gnome-default-settings On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall ubuntu-gnome-default-settings just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ubuntu-gnome-default-settings

default settings for the Ubuntu GNOME desktopUbuntu 15.04universe/x1115.04.5
sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-gnome-default-settings

This will remove just the ubuntu-gnome-default-settings package itself.

Uninstall ubuntu-gnome-default-settings and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ubuntu-gnome-default-settings

This will remove the ubuntu-gnome-default-settings package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ubuntu-gnome-default-settings then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ubuntu-gnome-default-settings

Or similarly, like this ubuntu-gnome-default-settings

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ubuntu-gnome-default-settings
