How To Uninstall ucimf-openvanilla On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall ucimf-openvanilla just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ucimf-openvanilla

openvanilla input method collection for ucimfUbuntu 15.04universe/utils2.10.11-2ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove ucimf-openvanilla

This will remove just the ucimf-openvanilla package itself.

Uninstall ucimf-openvanilla and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ucimf-openvanilla

This will remove the ucimf-openvanilla package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ucimf-openvanilla then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ucimf-openvanilla

Or similarly, like this ucimf-openvanilla

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ucimf-openvanilla
