How To Uninstall ulogd-pcap On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall ulogd-pcap just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ulogd-pcap

transitional dummy package for ulogd2-pcapUbuntu 15.04universe/net2.0.4-2ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove ulogd-pcap

This will remove just the ulogd-pcap package itself.

Uninstall ulogd-pcap and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ulogd-pcap

This will remove the ulogd-pcap package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ulogd-pcap then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ulogd-pcap

Or similarly, like this ulogd-pcap

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ulogd-pcap
