How To Uninstall unicode On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall unicode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just unicode

display unicode character propertiesUbuntu 15.04universe/utils0.9.8
sudo apt-get remove unicode

This will remove just the unicode package itself.

Uninstall unicode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove unicode

This will remove the unicode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for unicode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge unicode

Or similarly, like this unicode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove unicode
