How To Uninstall uphpmvault On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall uphpmvault just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just uphpmvault

upload recovery images to HP MediaVault2 via EthernetUbuntu 15.04universe/utils0.8
sudo apt-get remove uphpmvault

This will remove just the uphpmvault package itself.

Uninstall uphpmvault and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove uphpmvault

This will remove the uphpmvault package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for uphpmvault then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge uphpmvault

Or similarly, like this uphpmvault

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove uphpmvault
