How To Uninstall user-mode-linux On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall user-mode-linux just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just user-mode-linux

User-mode Linux (kernel)Ubuntu 15.04universe/kernel3.19.0-1um-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove user-mode-linux

This will remove just the user-mode-linux package itself.

Uninstall user-mode-linux and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove user-mode-linux

This will remove the user-mode-linux package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for user-mode-linux then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge user-mode-linux

Or similarly, like this user-mode-linux

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove user-mode-linux
