How To Uninstall e2fslibs-dev On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall e2fslibs-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just e2fslibs-dev

linuxext2/ext3/ext4 file system libraries - headers and static librarieslibdevel1.43.3-1
sudo apt-get remove e2fslibs-dev

This will remove just the e2fslibs-dev package itself.

Uninstall e2fslibs-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove e2fslibs-dev

This will remove the e2fslibs-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for e2fslibs-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge e2fslibs-dev

Or similarly, like this e2fslibs-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove e2fslibs-dev
