How To Uninstall erlang-runtime-tools On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall erlang-runtime-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-runtime-tools

linuxErlang/OTP runtime tracing/debugging toolsinterpreters1:18.3.4.4+dfsg-1ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove erlang-runtime-tools

This will remove just the erlang-runtime-tools package itself.

Uninstall erlang-runtime-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-runtime-tools

This will remove the erlang-runtime-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-runtime-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-runtime-tools

Or similarly, like this erlang-runtime-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-runtime-tools
