How To Uninstall ruby-all-dev On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall ruby-all-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-all-dev

Ruby development environment (all versions supported in Debian)Ubuntu 16.10devel1:2.3.0+4
sudo apt-get remove ruby-all-dev

This will remove just the ruby-all-dev package itself.

Uninstall ruby-all-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-all-dev

This will remove the ruby-all-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-all-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-all-dev

Or similarly, like this ruby-all-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-all-dev
