How To Uninstall rubygems-integration On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall rubygems-integration just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rubygems-integration

integration of Debian Ruby packages with RubygemsUbuntu 16.10ruby1.10
sudo apt-get remove rubygems-integration

This will remove just the rubygems-integration package itself.

Uninstall rubygems-integration and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rubygems-integration

This will remove the rubygems-integration package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rubygems-integration then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rubygems-integration

Or similarly, like this rubygems-integration

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rubygems-integration
