How To Uninstall thunderbird-gnome-support On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall thunderbird-gnome-support just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just thunderbird-gnome-support

Email, RSS and newsgroup client - GNOME supportUbuntu 16.10mail1:45.3.0+build1-0ubuntu4
sudo apt-get remove thunderbird-gnome-support

This will remove just the thunderbird-gnome-support package itself.

Uninstall thunderbird-gnome-support and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove thunderbird-gnome-support

This will remove the thunderbird-gnome-support package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for thunderbird-gnome-support then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge thunderbird-gnome-support

Or similarly, like this thunderbird-gnome-support

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove thunderbird-gnome-support
