How To Uninstall r-cran-rjsonio On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall r-cran-rjsonio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-rjsonio

Serialize R objects to JSON, JavaScript Object NotationUbuntu 16.10multiverse/gnu-r1.3-0-2
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-rjsonio

This will remove just the r-cran-rjsonio package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-rjsonio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-rjsonio

This will remove the r-cran-rjsonio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-rjsonio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-rjsonio

Or similarly, like this r-cran-rjsonio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-rjsonio
