How To Uninstall ruby-handlebars-assets On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall ruby-handlebars-assets just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-handlebars-assets

compile Handlebars templates in the Rails asset pipelineUbuntu 16.10multiverse/ruby2:0.23.0-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-handlebars-assets

This will remove just the ruby-handlebars-assets package itself.

Uninstall ruby-handlebars-assets and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-handlebars-assets

This will remove the ruby-handlebars-assets package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-handlebars-assets then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-handlebars-assets

Or similarly, like this ruby-handlebars-assets

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-handlebars-assets
