How To Uninstall bareos-storage On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall bareos-storage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bareos-storage

Backup Archiving Recovery Open Sourced - storage daemonUbuntu 16.10universe/admin14.2.6-3
sudo apt-get remove bareos-storage

This will remove just the bareos-storage package itself.

Uninstall bareos-storage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bareos-storage

This will remove the bareos-storage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bareos-storage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bareos-storage

Or similarly, like this bareos-storage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bareos-storage
