How To Uninstall bashdb On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall bashdb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bashdb

BASH debuggerUbuntu 16.10universe/devel4.3.0.91+ds-4build1
sudo apt-get remove bashdb

This will remove just the bashdb package itself.

Uninstall bashdb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bashdb

This will remove the bashdb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bashdb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bashdb

Or similarly, like this bashdb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bashdb
