How To Uninstall buildd On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall buildd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just buildd

Daemon for automatically building Debian binary packages from Debian sourcesUbuntu 16.10universe/devel0.71.0-2ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove buildd

This will remove just the buildd package itself.

Uninstall buildd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove buildd

This will remove the buildd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for buildd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge buildd

Or similarly, like this buildd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove buildd
