How To Uninstall eclipse-changelog On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall eclipse-changelog just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eclipse-changelog

linuxAutomatic ChangeLog entry creation support for Eclipseuniverse/devel3.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove eclipse-changelog

This will remove just the eclipse-changelog package itself.

Uninstall eclipse-changelog and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eclipse-changelog

This will remove the eclipse-changelog package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eclipse-changelog then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eclipse-changelog

Or similarly, like this eclipse-changelog

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eclipse-changelog
